HARRIS COUNTY'S MOBILE STEM LAB & MAKERSPACE

In partnership with the local church, educators, STEM and Construction professionals, and diversity champions, we train Minority, Underserved, and Truant Teens from low-income areas for Future Skill STEM and Construction Occupations through Innovative, Unconventional Programming and Industry Partnerships

we purchased a 40ft metro bus to

convert it into a mobile S.T.E.M. Lab and Makerspace and partner with area schools to recruit teens
teach and train teens of color and girls how to design & engineer software and computing systems for occupations in the clean energy sector
empower them to gain equity on their software portfolio
implement earn and learn programming for students to earn income before exiting high school in support of their families
provide at-risk students and high school dropouts with middle-skill STEM occupation opportunities as an alternative of falling into illegal activities
